As the envelope clutch trend fades, a new star takes its place. This star is clear box clutches. Seen all over all the fashion weeks, this incredibly chic bag is definitely the new "it" item to have in your closet. They come in all sorts of sizes, designs and even colors. So with that in mind, how would you style it? Well, since most are simply transparent, they match with literally everything! However, they do look especially nice with fresh, spring colors like mint green or lavender, so they are perfect for the upcoming season. They are also great because you get to show off whats in your purse, like your awesome iPhone case or your Chanel sunnies. On the other hand though, if you don't want people to see what is in your purse, you can always add a smaller clutch inside the clear one for extra style or privacy.

When Helen Hunt was asked what she was wearing at the Oscars, she didn't have a typical answer. Instead of Chanel or Dior, Mrs. Hunt answered H&M. At first, people thought she was joking. However, she was entirely serious. The strapless navy gown was suspected to be advertising for H&M's coming red carpet line. Although the exact gown won't be available, the dress is a good idea of what kind of the line may include. The dress wasn't anything special, but certainly didn't look out of place on the red carpet. Simple, yet elegant, the silk fabric looked good on. However, this begs the question: Will we see more retail stores on the red carpet in the future?
Filled with lavishly plush coats and lots of leather, BCBG's NYFW runway was a very chic place to be. You could call this look luxe grunge, with the leather leg warmers and knit hats it does have a tough feel about it. On the other hand though, there are the beautiful fuzzy knee length coats and artsy geometric prints.
This grunge leather and lavish elegance combo is already a trend on the Fashion Week runways. Kenneth Cole, Edun, and Timo Weiland all used lots of leather to offset posh pieces.

Michelle Obama, no doubt a stylish First Lady, always does a good job looking professional and polished. Unsurprisingly, at the Inauguration Ball, she looked absolutely stunning. She had chosen again to have her dress designed by Jason Wu; she obviously choose wisely. The ruby chiffon and velvet gown was a masterpiece. Paired with simple crystal bangles, it was very elegant, perfect for the event and her status as the Lady of the U.S.
